There actually aren't any install videos for this specific harness so you may be thinking of the # C56268 which is also a fit for your vehicle and does have a review video which I linked. The converter boxes do look different.

The Thule T2 XTR bike rack part # TH83JV that you referenced would work for both of the bikes you mentioned as it can fit wheel diameters up to 29 inches and tires that are up to 5 inches in width.
